I adopted Bella (from PAWS) when she was just 6 months old and according to them she is a German Shepherd/Collie mix. But in some ways, I think she resembles a Greyhound or maybe a sweet little deer. She has a tail that is so expressive--it wags back n' forth, up n' down, and in circles. Sometimes her ears stand straight up, sometimes they're tucked tight like a seal, and sometimes they're straight out like Yoda.
She has such a unique personality and is full of little quirks. For instance, she loves to stare. It can be intimidating for strangers, as it can be a sign of aggression in dogs, but once you know her, you realize that it's just something she does. It's like she's checking you out, waiting, just taking it all in.
Bella lives for treats and loves popcorn. She also could cuddle for hours. She's a heat seeker, loves to lay in the sun, and she seeks out the spots on the carpet where the sun shines through the windows. She spends a lot of time under covers, or under a blanket, and likes to be completely covered. She's totally in her element when she's running and she's not afraid to get dirty.
Bella Blue is my first dog. I love her to death!
