CND Shellac. Have you heard of it? It's a nail polish that is a cross between traditional nail color and gel. It is set with a UV lamp with zero drying time, high gloss/mirror finish and should last approximately 14 days without chipping! My first Shellac French Mani. I love the look and I'm excited to have a french manicure that lasts longer than a couple days on natural nails.

Decided to paint my nails red with some white snowflakes for the last couple of days that I'm working this week. It's always fun to spice things up! Sasha, by Zoya, is one of my favorite red polish colors. The bottle of polish looks much darker in the picture. The color is really closer to what you see on my nails--a bit brighter but a nice cool-toned red. I added the snowflakes using the Konad stamping "technique."
Supplies used: I couldn't locate the exact bundle of image plates that I used (I purchased mine last year) but if you're looking for a snowflake there are multiple options. It's true. I am slightly addicted to nail polish. I come by it honestly. My mom is a Cosmetologist/Hair Dresser and I have one sister. So basically, I grew up in a beauty shop. I love painting my nails and even giving manicures to others, too. Less than a year ago, I discovered Konad nail products because I saw what Kristina Werner had done to her nails during a card making video. She later did a How-to for Konad Nail Stamping and I thought it was just the coolest thing--loved those stripes!
So, I bought a set of design plates from Amazon as well as a few from the Wow So Cool website (M57, M63 & S06). I got only the essential tools (the Two-sided Stamp & scraper) and a few of the Konad nail polishes in white, silver, & black.
I created the above look with the items in the photo below: OPI Nail Envy as a base coat, Zoya Nail Polish in Dove as a base color, Konad nail polish in silver for the houndstooth design and then Seche Vite dry fast top coat. By the way, Seche Vite is the best top coat I have ever used--extreme shine & extremely fast drying!
